Possibly based on designs by Andrey Ivanovich Stakenschneider. Richly decorated with Rocaille pattern, flowers and foliage, green silk cover. Restorations and damages due to age.

According to an old note from the estate of Princess Leuchtenberg (Seeon) "from the former Palace in Russia".
The Leuchtenberg family owned a neoclassical palace in Sergievka near Peterhof, which was restored and furnished by the architect Andrey I. Stakenschneider in the years 1839-43, including the furnishings. A decorative similar bench is stored in the Hermitage. Lit.
